Health History and Screening
We review your medical history, medications and any past reactions to sedation. This screening determines which option is safe and appropriate for you.
Choose Your Sedation
Together we select nitrous oxide, oral sedation or IV sedation based on your procedure and comfort level. You will receive instructions on eating, drinking and medications beforehand.
Your Relaxed Appointment
Nitrous oxide takes effect within minutes through a small mask, oral sedation is taken before you arrive, and IV sedation is administered in the office. We monitor you throughout treatment.
Recovery and Ride Home
With nitrous oxide you can usually drive yourself home after a short recovery. After oral or IV sedation, a responsible adult must drive you home and stay with you while the effects wear off.
